Foreign, local companies partner to provide housing to Sugboanon tribe in Cebu

UAB Investicuos Statybos Pletrai and Golden Triumph Consolidated Mining Corporation partnered to provide permanent and decent housing for Sugboanon tribe members in Cebu.

The said housing project is planned to be constructed in the areas located in Barangay Ibo in Lapu-Lapu City, Barangay Paknaan in Mandaue City, and Mellineum St. Inayawan in Cebu.

Sectorial Tribal Chieftain of Cebu and his members led the signing of the deal which was held at the Big Hotel in Mandaue City.

UAB Investicuos Statybos Pletrai director Sergeus Rudnikovas and authorized regional representative Engineer Mohammad Saad Hassoun Alalwi also took part of the deal signing.

Edwin Barandino, president and CEO of Golden Triumph Consolidated Mining Corporation based in Quezon City, was also there to sign on behalf of his company.

According to Barandino, the project is meant to help their company with the development of President Rodrigo Duterte’s proposed Build, Build, Build Project.

Meanwhile, Datu Quimada expressed appreciation of the project saying his tribe has been wanting decent and permanent housing.
