Hinatuan Mining Corp.-Tagana-an Nickel Project (HMC-TNP), under its 2025 Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), distributed school supplies from kindergarten to senior high school in Tagana-an, Surigao del Norte.
“As part of our commitment to this cause, our Community Relations (ComRel) representatives recently turned over school supplies to all students, from Kindergarten to Senior High School, across our 7 adopted schools: Talavera National High School, Talavera Elementary School, Talavera Day Care Center, Bagong Silang Elementary School, Bagong Silang Day Care Center, Hinatuan Elementary School, and Hinatuan Day Care Center,” the company said in a Facebook announcement.
The company said that the program supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, which seeks to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education.
