Apex Mining Co. registered a consolidated net income of Php 1.565 billion for the first half of 2022 driven by higher production.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Monday, the mining company’s consolidated net income for the second quarter was Php 917.6 million.
“We consistently look at maximizing revenue through increased production output and minimizing cost through prudent spending,” Apex Mining president and CEO Luis Sarmiento said in a statement.
The company’s gold sales increased to 24,083 ozs in the second quarter, while sales for silver are at 94,234 ozs.
Apex Mining’s total revenue for the first half of the year stood at Php 4.766 billion, a 54% increase from the same period last year, which is an all-time high for the company.
“This consolidated quarter net income is an all-time high for Apex Mining,” Sarmiento said.
