Didipio Mine, operated by OceanaGold (Philippines), Inc. (OGP), has officially turned over three key infrastructure projects to Barangay Dibibi, amounting to approximately PHP 4.7 million.
The projects, funded through the 2024 Annual Social Development and Management Program (ASMDP), include the construction of an evacuation center, a daycare center, and improvements to the barangay hall facilities. The ASMDP is a collaborative initiative between the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) and OGP.
The turnover ceremony marked a significant milestone for the community. Hon. Whitney Dongiahon, speaking at the event, extended his appreciation to OGP for its ongoing contributions to Barangay Dibibi, which spans from infrastructure projects to scholarships and other initiatives that uplift the lives of Barangay residents.
The partnership between OGP and the local government has delivered numerous benefits to the community, and the recent handover highlights the value of collaboration.
