OceanaGold Philippines Inc. (OGPI) is pleased with the decision of the Regional Trial Court of Nueva Vizcaya to deny the request for a temporary environmental protection order (TEPO) targeting the firm’s Didipio Mine.

OGPI declared that it had always conducted its business in accordance with the rigid environmental laws.
The firm said that it had been involved in a thorough review process for its renewal of the mining contract, guaranteeing that it had complied with all the requirements of the government.
It also reiterated that OGPI remains committed to sustainable and reliable mining practices and that it plays a part in the economic development of the communities in the project’s vicinity.
The mining company also expressed gratitude to the community, stakeholders, and government for helping to create a favorable atmosphere for the Didipio Mine.
