Nickel Asia Corporation (NAC), the largest nickel producer in the Philippines, announced in a disclosure Tuesday, May 7, that it has made changes on its corporate governance.
In the said disclosure, NAC said that designation of Georgina Carolina Y. Martinez has been changed into Vice President for Legal from being Vice President for Legal and Special Projects.
Meanwhile, Augusto C. Villaluna, which used to serve as the Vice President of Operations for NAC, has been appointed as the new Vice President for Special Projects of the company.
Both appointments were approved and deemed effective the same day the disclosure was released by the mining firm on the Philippine Stock’s website.
Villaluna and Martinez has been working for NAC since 2015 and 2017 respectively.
NAC has four operating mines in the Philippines; the Rio Tuba, Taganito, Cagdianao, and Hinatuan mines. These sites mine and explore for nickel saprolite and limonite ore, and limestone in country.
